Well what a surprise today. First in switiching phone carriers we have been locked out of our phone. So I have had appt. to get help at the Apple store King Street Downtown Charleston, which actually is directly across the street from where I worked for 6 years at the Bonnie Holden Gallery, with Bonnie and her husband Harry.
A year after 911 the rents sky rocketed on King street. So inflated in fact that Bonnie and Harry had to close shop. My Mom and Pop still have lunch once a month with Bonnie and Harry, which is great for all of them. So King street is now like Rodeo Drive Charleston. Fancy shops and Boutiques, 5 star Resteraunts and Coutoure Galore.
Now back to Apple Corner of King and Soceity street, COC central. Been there 3 times this week. My Pop drove me the first time dropped me off out front and then he would circle around and get me 15 to 30 min I should be done. Yeah, right!! 2 hour wait. So I set an appointment it didn't work out. So on the 2nd appt I couldn't get parking. So appt. 3 was this past sat Lee and I together Mission I drop him at door and then I jockey for parking till he comes out and off we go. This brings me to the surprise. When I called to reset appointment 2 for appointment 3. I was pleasantly surprised by having a wonderful conversation with Apple Tech Brandon, who was most helpful and absalutley delightful to converse with. Because of secert questions having to be set we got to talking about writing. I told him about my Blog on my .com that is becoming a catharsis for me. We laughed. I said. I don't know if anyone reads what I write, but for me it is giving me peace of mind during all that is going on with the move Lee and I are going through.
Through our conversation I shared with Brandon that I have a Murder Mystery series that I am working on. Which I hope to preview here on my blog and Facebook. Brandon shared some of his creative writing (wonderful story ideas, really wonderful.) Brandon if you are reading, I hope you are!! Complete at least one get it Copywrited get started you have wonderful stories to share.
So Brandon Champion Apple Tech got my new appt set up. I had a chance to laugh at myself and share and meet a pretty cool dude. Thank you Brandon.
So this past Saturday Lee and I hit the Apple store. Within 15 min we were through and on our way home. Lee and I love when we have a chance to share our creativity and when someone shares with us we truly appreciate it.
When in the midst of Kaos a surprise ray of shunshine is sent from the Most High, with that all mighty power, everything is going to be all right!!
Happy days everybody!! oxox
