To me it is amazing to see old photos.  This is a great pictures of My Mom's Mom and My dad in a purple Italian suit, he actually had shoes to match. I love my Granny's sweet floral dress in this garden pic she is like part of the garden, and the whisp of hair on her forehead.  She was something else.

You know back in the 50s everyone was so dressy.  I love it.  My husband Lee and myself were watching Rear Window for about the cazillion time.  The scene where Grace Kelly is showing off her beautiful dress to Jimmy Stewart and she says this is a bargin at 1400.00, to which he says holy smoke who is buying those things and she says, without missing a heart beat, "they are flying off the racks, we can hardly keep them in stock".  This is in the 1950s.  The only word that comes to mind is so very posh!!   People were so very Posh!!  I suppose that is why I love vintage anything.  Just the thought of some posh person, just being oh so very posh, without intending to be. haha 

I have some great vintage Jewelry that I will be posting.  Among other things.  Our move has me just a little bogged down right now.  That is a blog for another day.  ;>)  I am going to write about it as an educational thingy.  It may help some people.
