Vintage gold wood jewelry music box 60s Italian style plays Moon River.
Moon river made very popular being played in the Famous Breakfast at Tiffany's, staring Audrey Hepburn. This music box has a romantic feel. There is a small print on the lid depicting a woman lounging possibly in her boudoir. Please view pictures there is some age wear a little of the gold paint is missing under the front of the drawer on the base from the drawer being pulled in and out. There is a small stain on inside of the drawer. The interior of the Jewel box is in good condition. The picture of the woman has some wear on it. The music box plays by opening the drawer. It has a mind of its own depending on fast it wishes to play. A little shot of WD-40 could help, I have not done this. Over all it is a good looking jewelry box. 1960s
It measures 7.5" by 5.5" and 2.5 high.
