Sea shell box a little touch of the Sea side great for momentoes, treasures and keepsakes. 1950s
Sailors would bring these Sea shell boxes home from their travels, for their sweethearts. This lovely box is 6" x 4 1/2" x 2 1/2". Being from the 50s it has some age wear. The corners on the right front, back left top and bottom, are missing little pieces of shell. Please view pictures. The box is lined with red felt. It has a few pen marks. May have been used for notes and a pen kept with them. The bottom of the box has a sticker.
