Vintage silver earrings, with abalone inlay from Mexico 70s
These lovely silver and inlaid Abalone earrings are from Cozumel Mexico. They dangle 3". The width is 1/16" to 2" at the bottom. There is a Myan indian influence to them. They were purchased at an open air market in the 70s. Each earring is stamped on the back with Mexico ALPACA. Which means the silver is nickel, not sterling. There is a little patina on them because of the nickel. They have a lil age and play wear. They dangle nicely and are not heavy. Nicely made they always get compliments. 70s
