Hi I'm Heather, my Mixed Vintageables are bits and pieces of vintage jewelry transformed into wearable art for a new era.
I am a left off center person I enjoy asymetry you will see this in all my pieces. I enjoy using different colour metals and fixings depending on the colours of the beads and stones. I like the boho/avant-garde flow. Like Haiku poetry has the same theme, but doesn't always rhyme. The beads and stones or polished beads are from the 70s, 80s and 90s.
The Raw polished Amethyst on this necklace is different on each side. This is a very old polished crystal Amethyst it looks good from all angles. Amethysts promote Calmness, clarity of thought and it helps you have good dream. There are aurora borialis crystals and rhodonite stones with tibetan silver and some vintage beads from the 90s.
I have put it on a silk chord 20" long and the pendent is .75 x .75 x .5. The clasp is a lobster claw.
The tassle earrings are silk and they are adorned with some fun colour changing beads from the 90s they have a 3" drop. They are on a 925 stamped silver hook wire.
